Lord of the Rings Online Best Solo Class

Like most Mmorpgs nowadays, there are no one best solo class in Lotro. Rather all the classes can solo pretty well, but there are some classes with advantages over others when it comes to leveling. In this guides I will show you what classes are best suited for Solo play in Lotro. Just remember that all classes solo well all the way to level 85. and you should pick your class based on playstyle.

Burglar

Solo Capability : Good

Stealthy and clever, Burglars hide in the shadows waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Pros:

–          Stealth

–          Some Crow Control

–          Debuffs

–          Stuns

–          Can Pick Pockets

–          High Avoidance

 

Captain

Solo Capability : Good

The Captain is the leader of the group, heading first into battle. They are skilled warriors who strengthen their allies resolves with their banners and battlecries.

Pros:

–          Decent DPS

–          Some Heals

–          Buffs

–          Herald (pet)

 

Champion

Solo Capability : Very Good

The Champion is a master of melee combat and can do a lot of damage to his foes. He also uses heavy armor, making his survivability high.

–          Good Survivability

–          High DPS

–          Buffs

–          Some self heals

–          Good AOE DPS

–          Can take on multiple mobs

 

Guardian

Solo Capability : Very Good

The Guardian is a typical Tank class. They can withstand damage better than any other class in the game.

–          Can take on multiple mobs

 

Hunter

Solo Capability : Good

Hunters are capable melee warriors, but their true skills lie with the bow and arrow. They are capable of doing a lot of damage from a distance. They also get ports and extra runspeed which cuts down leveling time.

–          Quick Travel

–          Some Crow Control

 

Lore-Master

Solo Capability : Good

Lore-Masters are powerful spell casters. They excel at crow control, and they have strong pets that aid them in battle.

–          Good DPS

 

Minstrel

Solo Capability : Very Good

The Minstrel is a bard that uses their songs to protect and heal themselves and their allies, making their survivability high.

Pros:

–          Heals

–          Decent DPS

 

Rune-Keeper

Solo Capability : Decent

Rune-Keepers are capable of both doing DPS and healing themselves and their allies.

Pros:

–          Good DPS

–          Heals

 

Warden

Solo Capability : Very Good

Although they use medium armor, the Warden is a tank class. They are capable of doing good damage, and they have high survivability due to their self heals and high block, parry and evade skill.
