The Miser’s Will is one of the easiest bounties to do in RoS. You can do it with any gear at Torment VI as long as you can outrun the mobs in Westmarch Commons and get into the Miser’s Hovel. The rewards for the quest on Torment VI are pretty good as you get around 20 Million XP and a good chance at some cool loot. The bounty is pretty rare though and it seems to have been nerfed. In my last 20-30 logins I have only seen it active once. If you are farming other Torment VI bounties like Miner’s Gold or Scavenged Scabbard it is well worth it to look for this bounty as well.

Both The Jar of Souls & The Matriarchs Bones are bounties and events located in the Defiled Crypt in Cemetery of the Forsaken. This guide will show you how you can farm the event on Torment VI with any gear. The difference between the event and the bounty is that the bounty also requires you to kill a number of mobs, something that many people will not be able to do on Torment VI. But completing the event only requires you to be able to outrun the mobs in the Defiled Crypt. When the Bounty is active though, the yellow arrow will point you in the direction of the correct Defiled Crypt. If it isn’t active, you will have to guess which one it is. Either the Matriarch’s Bones or the Jar of Souls will be in one of the crypts at any time. The easiest way to find out if you are in the right crypt fast, is to look at the halls and corners. The correct defiled crypt will always only have one way to go until you reach the event. The other crypts have intersections.
Got a new alt character with bad gear? This can be sorted pretty quickly. In minutes you can replace all those rares with a complete set of legendaries.
The first thing I like to do when gearing an alt, is to save all my Horadric Caches from my other characters. These are account bound and you can put them in your storage and open them on other characters. Farm bounties and save them for your alt.
After opening your Horadric Caches, it is time to spend some Blood Shards. Blood Shards can be spent by any character on your account. For those slots you didn’t get in the caches, you should try your luck with Blood Shards. Here I personally like to save up 500 by doing Nephalem Rifts on my main, then spending them on my alts.
Since the class system in Elder Scrolls Online is pretty different from your average MMO, determining the best solo class is almost impossible. Each of the classes in ESO can fill all roles whether it be tanking, dpsing or healing. They all bring something unique to the table as well.
In Elder Scrolls Online it does not come down to what class is the best at soloing, it comes down to how good you are at soloing. How you build your character is also important. Someone who groups or raids a lot will primarily want to build for one of the archetypes (tank, healer, DPS). With someone who wants to solo, you will want survivability and damage output. If you want to level quickly, the DPS is more important. If you want to solo hard mobs, survivability is more important.
This guide are just tips and tricks that can be useful to know while leveling in Elder Scrolls Online. If you want specific grinding locations or leveling guides, check out our Leveling Guides section for more.
Grinding Vs. Questing: Leveling in ESO is quite slow. Grinding and Questing seems to be about the same when it comes to leveling speed, if you know the right grinding locations.
Addons and UI : XPView is a nifty addon to have. It won’t increase your leveling speed, but it will show you long it is until your next level both in minutes and in amount of mobs killed.
