Like most Mmorpgs nowadays, there are no one best solo class in Lotro. Rather all the classes can solo pretty well, but there are some classes with advantages over others when it comes to leveling. Just remember that all classes solo well all the way to level 85. and you should pick your class based on playstyle.
Burglar
Solo Capability : Good
Stealthy and clever, Burglars hide in the shadows waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Captain
Solo Capability : Good
The Captain is the leader of the group, heading first into battle. They are skilled warriors who strengthen their allies resolves with their banners and battlecries.

– Some Heals
– Buffs
– Herald (pet)
Champion
Solo Capability : Very Good
The Champion is a master of melee combat and can do a lot of damage to his foes. He also uses heavy armor, making his survivability high.

Guardian
Solo Capability : Very Good
The Guardian is a typical Tank class. They can withstand damage better than any other class in the game.

Hunters are capable melee warriors, but their true skills lie with the bow and arrow. They are capable of doing a lot of damage from a distance. They also get ports and extra runspeed which cuts down leveling time.

Lore-Masters are powerful spell casters. They excel at crow control, and they have strong pets that aid them in battle.

The Minstrel is a bard that uses their songs to protect and heal themselves and their allies, making their survivability high.
