Welcome to our Paladin Vanguard Build for DDO. This build is a defensive build with healing and some utility that gives it value in groups but also make it a strong solo build.

This build also works well as a first life build.

Hi, I'm brand new to DnD online. I'd like to choose Paladin Vanguard, but it seems only Warriors get the pathway or option to chose that. Sorry if it's a noob question, but do I choose pally and than "custom?" I'm currently a "free to play" player... Thanks

Your build has more than 80 points spent in the enhancement trees. So which areas would you remove points from because by following your build I am 7 points short for vanguard tree. I have 9 points in my racial tree, 25 in the sacred defender and 11 in knights of the chalice, which only leaves me 35 points for vanguard. What do you suggest?

Drop the Racial points. This build is based off Racial reincarnations, which give you more racial action points.
