Basic Barbarian Blademaster Info

Below is all the basic information for the Blademaster, from race choices to stats.

Other Barbarian Builds

This build uses much of the same gear as the Barbarian Sentinel Tank Build, so you can easily switch between the two roles in different Loadouts.

Race

What race you play doesn’t play a huge role, but will give you a small boost. Generally, I would advise you to play a race that you enjoy. All the races below are viable choices.

  • Human1% Bonus to all stats – +3 To any Ability Score
  • Metallic Ancestry Dragonborn Recieve 3% more healing and 3% more Max Hit Points – +2 to Any two Ability Score – 3% Critical Strike – 3% Power
  • Dragonborn Recieve 5% more healing – +2 to Any Ability Score – 3% Critical Strike – 3% Power

Ability Score Priority

Put all your available Ability Scores into Strength and Charisma.

Stat / Rating Priority

Your cap for each stat is based on your item level. To cap a stat, the numbers of the stat need to be equal to or higher than your item level.

If your stat number is higher than your item level, you are wasting stats and should try to allocate stats differently.

For every 1000 points, if a stat is lower than your item level you lose 1% in that stat.

Offensive Stats

  1. Power (90%)
  2. Combat Advantage (90%)
  3. Critical Strike (90%)
  4. Critical Severity (90%)
  5. Accuracy (90%)

Defensive Stats

  1. Defense (90%)
  2. Awareness (90%)
  3. Critical Avoidance (90%)
  4. Deflect (90%)
  5. Deflect Severity (90%)

  1. Ok firstly let’s talk about some things. This is an old build now. If you equip the wyvern set you will lose 2 strength but gain 2 CON, 3 Dex, and 2 Int. You will also gain 36k more HP. The necklace will give 2k critical strike and 2k awareness. The belt gives 2k armor penetration and 2k deflection both of these are at legendary as well.

Demogorgon set gives 2300 Critical Strike and 2300 deflection.

Moving onto rings yes you net gain 4.5% dmg to encounter powers only and net a total of about 9979 Armor pen and and 6653 combat advantage.

Now compare the stats of using the Ebonized Raid and Assault Rings. 7409 Armor Pen 6350 Critical Strike, 3175 Accuracy, and 4234 Combat Advantage. More impottantly… YOU GAIN 3% DMG to ALL MELEE POWERS per ring so thst nets another 6 percent dmg for everything you do.

In summary demogorgon and set has these advantages over Wyvern Set:
    +2 Stength
    +300 critical strike
    +300 deflect.
Bonus dmg based on HP Ratio

    The ShadowStalker rings set:
    +2570 Armor Pen
    +2419 Combat Advantage.

Wyvern set has the following advantages:
    +2CON
    +3DEX
    +2INT
    +2000 awareness
    +2000 Armor Pen.

    The Ebonized rings:
    +6350 Critical Strike
    +3175 Accuracy.

Now notice when we put in all of the new suggestions above this is the net change to stats:
    +2CON
    +3DEX
    +2INT
    +6050 Critcal Strike.
    +3175 Accuracy
    +36k HP roughly
    -570 Armor Pen
    -2000Awareness
    -2 STR
+Every time you use a daily create a rune to give yourself and all party members +5000 Power and +5000 Armor Pen. Additionally increase all outgoing damage by 5%.
-Increase Dmg based on HP ratio.

Overall the selling points here are the enormous amounts of critical strike and accuracy gain. Also eith more HP you could easily now tank it you wanted or could strip the radiant enchantment you may have in defensive slots for something else you need. Most likely defense or critical avoidance. Lastly you are guaranteed an additional 6% dmg to all melee you do which is the entire character anyway. And combined with the daily bonus from the set. It will easily out preform the gear above. Lastly it will increase your item level so you appear higher geared if you’re lacking enchantment.

    Cheers!

  2. For the above. Sorry left this out.
The +2INT should impact the vorpal enchantment arcane damage.

    Cheers again everyone!

  3. exactly. Don’t listen to this dude. He wants you to give up +2 strength, 1 of the most important stats in the game for a barbarian, so u can overcap crit, ap, and accuracy.
Maybe u should stop trolling prople LethalShadow and just publish ur crappy build.

  4. I found this build useful. Let me point out that he states clearly that it’s a BASE build and u can either cut and paste or expand and tweak to your liking.

    1. Uses the exact same since there are barley any changes. That’s why mod 17 was so short. Mod 18 is supposed to last nearly all year.

  5. Recently started playing neverwinter and used this build it’s the really easy to use, completed the levelling adventures and a few campaigns without struggling. Just gets a bit confusing but I shall get them items recommended eventually.

  6. Is this build still relevant (November 2021)?
Bloodletter feat is a concern for me, since it cause damage to me, as I am struggling to stay alive as it is.
Also, as a returning player from years ago I have demogorgan set at legendary(which I love) but is way to low IL compared to newer sets. Also, lostmouth was meta before demo so I am not sure what to make of it.
    Thanks for your response.

  7. So with the gear, do you believe whatever is on top is the best and so forth going down to the bottom so whatever is listed second is second best in slot thank you in advance
