The Complete Cleric Devout Healing Build – Neverwinter Mod 27 Spelljammer

Welcome to our Cleric Devout Guide, updated for Mod 27: Spelljammer.

Are you looking to start playing a Cleric in Neverwinter? This guide is for you! In this article, we will go over everything you need to know about playing as a Devout Cleric in Neverwinter.

We’ll discuss the basics of the class, as well as some of the more advanced tips and strategies that will help you dominate your opponents in Neverwinter.

The Devout Cleric is a typical healing class, that focuses on keeping your allies alive. They also have some strong buffs. It is recommended that you have one loadout for a Cleric Arbiter build as well for when you need to DPS or are soloing.

The purpose of our class guides is not just to show you a build that you can copy and use on your character, but to show you a base build and teach you the mechanics and stats of the game, so you can understand and play your class to its fullest capabilities.

Try different gear, feats, and powers, and learn to tailor your own build for your playstyle. See our guide to making your own build for more info.

  6. Dragonborn Recieve 5% more healing – +2 to Any two stats – 3% Critical Strike – 3% Power

Devout Ability Score Priority

Put all your available Ability Scores into Wisdom and Dexterity.

Devout Stat / Rating Priority

The Combat Rework introduced major changes to how stats and item level work, for more info see the official post.

Your cap for each stat is based on your item level. To cap a stat, the numbers of the stat need to be equal to or higher than your item level.

If your stat number is higher than your item level, you are wasting stats and should try to allocate stats differently.

For every 1000 points, a stat is lower than your item level you lose 1% in that stat.

You won’t be able to easily cap all stats, but capping your power is quite easy.

Offensive Stats

  1. Power (90%)
  2. Combat Advantage (90%)
  3. Critical Strike (90%)
  4. Critical Severity (90%)
  5. Accuracy (90%)

Defensive Stats

  1. Defense (90%)
  2. Deflection (90%)
  3. Critical Avoidance (90%)
  4. Awareness (90%)
  5. Health (90%)

This is so half-asked and half out of date! The armor reinforcement jewel you chose? Really? Your waist/neck/artifact set recommendations are out of date, as are the weapon sets and half the armor set piece recommendations. This article just borders on clickbait, and is commonly laughed at by end game players.

Can you check these numbers? You have Quickling and Neverember Guard both giving 11% outgoing healing.

@Gary, this article is basically just click-bait these days. Inaccurate, out of date, half assed.

why can't we find the bonus survivor's gift anywhere? I think a little update is needed and maybe put a little more variety because as it is presented now, all DPS look alike. Ordinary a bit. Otherwise continue your work.

Another that won't work for me. It just the easy way out for what is everyone use. Need more creativity here. For me, new mode essurvivilityand my at will ain't enough for that tempered enchantment cause I use another plus I am an AP oriented. Anyway. Ty

Might be a noob question, but why suggest Accuracy as a stat for a DC Cleric? Isn't that solely a DPS stat? (counters Deflect Severity?)
